About

BIGOTE is the music project of a Madrid-born DJ and producer based in Granada. He co-founded Caballito Netlabel with Grita in 2010. Founded under Creative Commons licences, the label is now curated by Bigote and Killmiya and keeps changing with their musical interests. The label has published more than 100 releases, including work by Somadamantina, Dellafuente, Highkili, Eurowitch, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Kid Cala and Metrakit.

His productions move between club music, baile funk, percussion and ambient experiments. Releases include Hardfunk, Hard Drum and BAILE 3000, followed by pobre diavla, BAILE 3000 RMXS, ME ENAMORO DE TODOS Y TODOS DE MI REMIX and UNRELEASED AMBIENT WORKS. The latest references are linked below.

He has performed in Lima and São Paulo and across Europe. His mixes and productions have appeared on Boiler Room, Turbo Vodafone FM, Hiedrah, AGVA Records and other platforms.

Beyond his releases, Bigote conceived and coordinates Club de Escucha Activa for Caballito Netlabel: a series of encounters dedicated to attentive listening, experimental music and shared sonic practices. Each edition is shaped with its space and participating artists.
