An independent Granada netlabel founded in 2010 under Creative Commons licences. Music and visual design shaped by an evolving curatorial vision.
Caballito Netlabel was founded in Granada in 2010 by Bigote and Grita as an independent platform built around Creative Commons licences. It began with mixtapes, electronic music and Latin rhythms, paired with GIFs, videos, vivid colours and a visual identity designed by its founders. The graphic work was part of how the music circulated and how the label was recognised.
Caballito is now curated by Bigote and Killmiya. Rather than following one fixed sound, the label changes with the particular tastes and interests of its curators at each moment. Releases, parties, artwork and collaborations reflect that ongoing movement. This project shows Bigotesucio’s design work for Caballito while also telling the story of the label behind it.
